Non-Sanctioned Player Reinstatement Process for Spring Tryouts

Players who played in a Non-Sanctioned League in the Current Season and wish to return to HEO
Sanctioned Programming for next season, and tryout in the Spring for AAA/AA/A teams, will need to
apply to HEO for reinstatement prior to the beginning of the tryout schedule.
Please send all Reinstatement applications to Jeff Baker at jbaker@hockeyeasternontario.ca . All
applications need to be received no later than March 30th of the current season.
If the application is accepted the player will need to register with HEO at a non-refundable fee of
$200.00. This fee is the reinstatement fee which aligns with the Hockey Canada reinstatement fee and
is over and above the regular registration fee that will be required for each player to pay to their local
Minor Hockey Association.
The registration link will be sent out to the player once reinstatement has been approved.
Once registration has been accepted, players may not attend a Non-Sanctioned League activity which
includes a tryout. If a player does attend a Non-Sanctioned League activity that player will be in violation
of Policy 6.54 and will be removed from the HEO AAA/AA/A Spring AAA Tryout process.
NOTE: Spring/Summer hockey teams/activities are not subject to Policy 6.54.
Players may only apply for reinstatement once within a 5-year period.
