February is - Black History Month

Greetings!  While hockey is Canada's game it's more than just a game. In the words of Roch Carrier, "Hockey is the history of Canadians". Black hockey history is Canadian history. On October 9, 2024, the Government of Canada designated the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes (CHLM) an event of national historic significance. To learn more Government of Canada Recognizes Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes and Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes National Historic Event (pc.gc.ca)
