Midget B Playoff Info

Note: to be updated for 2014 soon......Peter Jan 30

All teams participate in the playoffs, except WE3 and WE5 who were declared 'dominate'.

Pool MB-D
  • WE3 and WE5 play a 4 game exhibition series

Pool MB-2, two groups MB-2A and MB-2B
  • 10 teams, 2 groups of 5
  • each team plays a 4 game round robin within their group (seeded based on regular season standings Jan 23)
  • top 3 teams in each group advance
  • top team in each group gets a bye to the semi finals
  • two quarter finals: 3rd MB-2A vs 2nd MB-2B and 2nd MB-2A vs 3rd MB-2B, winners advance to semi finals
  • then finals (three 15 minute stop time periods, no flood, no time out)

Pool MB-3
  • one group of 9 teams
  • each team plays a 4 game round robin within the group (seeded based on regular season standings Jan 23)
  • top 6 teams advance
  • 1st and 2nd get a bye to the semi finals
  • two quarter finals: 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th, winners advance to semi finals
  • then finals (three 15 minute stop time periods, no flood, no time out)

Pool MB-4
  • one group of 7 teams
  • each team plays a 4 game round robin within the group (seeded based on regular season standings Jan 23)
  • top 4 teams advance to semi finals: 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd
  • then finals (three 15 minute stop time periods, no flood, no time out)
Challenge Pool MB-C
  • winner of MB-2 vs MB-D in an exhibition game
